Business Visitor Visa

Persons wishing to explore opportunities in Australia for business, attend meetings or hold talks with business partners may obtain a Business Short Stay visa.

The visa is valid for a maximum period of three months and may have a multiple entry facility.

Applicants should provide evidence of the purpose of the visit including a letter of invitation from an appropriate business associate or event organiser.

TOURIST AND OTHER VISAS

Visitor Visa

Visitor visas allow non-residents to enter and remain in Australia for periods of up to 12 months and may have a multiple entry facility. Visitors are not permitted to work.

Intending visitors must: have genuine tourist reasons for travelling to Australia, provide evidence of funds to support their stay, hold a return ticket, and provide evidence of their proposed activities in Australia and incentive to return to their country of origin.

Student Visa

Australia is a world famous destination for post secondary education.

Working Holiday Visa

Citizens of these countries aged between 18 and 30 have the opportunity to travel to Australia for 12 months and are eligible to undertake temporary employment to supplement their holiday funds.

Working Holiday makers are limited to working for any one employer for a period of six months.

Working Holiday makers who complete three months ‘seasonal’ work in Australia may be eligible to extend their stay by an additional 12 months.

Sporting, Trainee, Medical, Religious and other specialist Visas

Australia has a range of temporary resident visas available to persons in specific classes who are invited to Australia by an Australian organization.

All applicants must be sponsored by the appropriate organisation, produce evidence of ability to financially support themselves during the propose period of stay and provide details of the proposed activities to be undertaken in Australia.

Investor Retirement Visa

An Investor Retirement visa is a temporary visa which permits the holder to remain in Australia for a period of four years. Whilst it does not lead to permanent residence in Australia or to Australian citizenship, Investor Retirees may apply for further visas at the expiry of each visa. As long as the Investor Retiree continues to meet the criteria, he or she may remain in Australia indefinitely.

Investor Retirees are not entitled to Medicare or social security benefits.

Investor Retirees are required to hold private medical insurance and are permitted to work for up to 20 hours per week.
